AMC, in coordination with the client, establishes data requirements, manages the due diligence team, analyzes results, sythetizes findings, recommends asset management strategy and implements recommendations.
Raúl de la Sierra Mancera
Throughout his career, Raúl has relied on his analytic ability as an engineer and on his understanding of international financial markets to develop and manage credit and investment businesses. For more than 25 years, Raúl has navigated successfully the impact of economic cycles on credit and investment portfolios.
As President of Finamex International, a NY based broker and investment manager, he was responsible for fixed income portfolios worth over US$300 million; as CFO for Grupo Posadas, a large hotel chain, he was in charge of the groups financial restructuring; and as Director of Investments for GMAC RFC Mexico, he developed a distressed assets investment and management platform that acquired over US$ 250 million in distressed assets.
In 2005 Raúl founded AMC, a boutique investment company where he has served international clients by offering his investment management experience in distressed assets.
Raúl obtained his MBA from Harvard and graduated as a Chemical Engineer from UC Berkeley.
